Aquatronics Marine offer on-site Instalation and repair services to all your marine electronics on your vessel throughout the Sydney Harbour and Pittwater areas. Based in Brookvale, Aquatronics Marine electronics has on road vans to service most marinas around main, middle, and north harbour locations. When required and by arrangement with the owner Aquatronics will also visit by water if required.

Marine electronic navigation systems installation

Aquatroinics undertakes work on most marine electrical and electronic navigation systems and services aboard all types of vessels. As well as other leading brands such as Simrad and  Furuno , Aquatronics is a Raymarine distributor and "On board" service agent and can undertake "on board" warranty work on approved installations. Please call us for further information.

Training

Aquatronics Marine offers training to customers who wish to improve their knowledge and skills with the use of their Raymarine Navigation equipment. - This would normally be undertaken with individuals or a small group on board the customer's vessel. 2 to 4 hours would be the recommended session time. Please contact Tony if you would like further information and prices.

Rewiring

Aquatronics is experienced with complete rewiring and modernisation of older vessels, including panel design and reconstruction. Recently with the introduction of the latest technology developed by Empirbus for the distribution and control of power systems, we can add many additional serices at the same time as reducing cable runs and cable sizes and installation and configuration time.

The EmpirBus power supply system increases functionality and the onboard comfort. Dimming possibilities, automatic control funtions, integration of systems, and the choice to have a remote to control any function onboard is some of the potentials with EmpirBus. - Imagine having the deck lit up when arriving to the yacht or shuting off all the systems while setting the alarm system.  The combination of possibilities are almost endless and reprogramming of the system acheive easily, for changing or altering systems operation.

Raymarine Installation and "onboard" service

Aquatronics Marine is an approved Raymarine distributor and can assist you with supply and installation of a system to meet your needs from a simple instrumentation package to a superior integrated navigation system incorporateing all the latest technology.

Aquatronics can provide full installtion as well as initial product training. Further training is available on line from Raymarine tutorial .

Our "onboard" service covers the first 2 years of operation and service of your equipment. Specialised and additional traning can be provided by Aquatronics personnel at an additional fee.

 


Bow and Stern Thruster installation

 

 

  Aquatronics Marine have experience in supplying and fitting Maxpower bow and stern thrusters to a wide range of vessels - Max Power have led the way for bow thrusters, stern thrusters and hydraulic systems for over 18 years. Holding patents on all of the product ranges Max Power is renowned for using new technologies to introduce new boundaries to the marine industry.

 Sizing of the thruster and positionng are the most important factors - too small and it is going to be ineffective exactly when it is required to operate at peak performance.  To select the correct size we need to determin the size weight and windage of the vessel and what position it can be located. Aquatronics recommends fitting batteries located close to the thruster for maximum power when needed, this also reduces the need for heavy cable runs through to the aft of the boat. Appropriate safty switching and fusing is also installed. In some instances we fit a 24volt thruster in a 12 volt system (using a 12/24) coupler to increase the power capacity of the thruster.
